“The first phase of HUMAIN's Al Sa'ad campus — covering two of six 1GW plots, with construction begun in March 2026 — will deliver 1 gigawatt of capacity in 2027, as part of a wider 6-gigawatt hyperscale AI data centre programme in Riyadh.”

Funding for the buildout is still being assembled, including a planned $2.5 billion BSF Capital-managed fund and a $1.2 billion National Infrastructure Fund framework.

“Humain is targeting installation of 1.9 gigawatts of AI data center capacity by 2030 and roughly six gigawatts by 2034, as Saudi Arabia seeks to become the world's third-largest AI provider after the U.S. and China.”

Humain has since reaffirmed the 1.9GW-by-2030 and ~6GW-by-2034 roadmap while raising outside financing; its first 100MW deployment went live in August 2026.
