AI 2027 paired a month-by-month scenario with a timelines model whose median for a superhuman coder was 2027–2028; in a December 2025 update the authors moved that median to roughly 2032 and superintelligence to about 2034, so the original target remains unresolved until end-2027 but looks unlikely on the authors' own revised model.
