“The UK will host the first major global summit on AI safety this autumn — bringing together key countries, leading tech companies and researchers to agree safety measures to evaluate and monitor the most significant risks from AI.”

The AI Safety Summit was held at Bletchley Park on 1–2 November 2023 with roughly 150 representatives from governments, frontier AI labs, academia and civil society; 28 countries plus the EU signed the Bletchley Declaration.
