“Under Google's master plant development agreement with Kairos Power, Kairos' first small modular reactor will be brought online by 2030, with additional reactors built through 2035; in total the deal will provide "500 megawatts of new 24/7 carbon-free energy to the U.S. electricity grids."”

In August 2025 Google, Kairos and TVA signed a PPA for the Hermes 2 plant in Oak Ridge, Tennessee, whose output was expanded from 28 MW to 50 MW and which is scheduled to come online in 2030.
