“The all-new Mercedes-Benz CLA will be the first passenger car to ship with NVIDIA's full-stack DRIVE AV software, including the new Alpamayo reasoning model, launching on U.S. roads in the first quarter of 2026.”
The CLA did reach U.S. customers in early 2026 on the MB.OS/NVIDIA DRIVE AV platform, but only a limited MB.DRIVE ASSIST PRO package (steering, lane-change and parking assist, a $1,950 option) was active; NVIDIA's own page and Mercedes subsequently said the full Alpamayo-powered level 2++ point-to-point capability is 'expected by end of this year' — so the Q1 full-stack launch slipped.
