By the end of 2021 fully driverless vehicles existed on public roads only in tiny geofenced pilots (Waymo's rider-only service in the Phoenix area), so the literal claim was narrowly met, but no fully autonomous consumer vehicles — including NVIDIA DRIVE-powered ones — were on the road as the prediction implied.
