Autonomous ride-hail was still pre-scale at the end of 2025: Waymo was the only meaningful US operator (valued in the low hundreds of billions at most), GM shut Cruise down, and Tesla's robotaxi service was limited to small supervised fleets — aggregate enterprise value for autonomous platform operators was orders of magnitude below $3.8 trillion.
